Same budget as me. Get an ITR, they are bloody neat. Proper fun

Yet practical, (4 seater) drop down rear seats + large boot. Cheap to run, cheap to insure.
Looks a lovely car Graham - I've often fancied one of these as they seem so special and are cheap on petrol/tyres. I've driven one at Bruntingthorpe courtesy of a friend and I enjoyed how mobile the back end was into the tight bends. Do they do a roof rack for them?

I think you've got the 'exchange rate' wrong, mate.

I work on 1:5.

"When" - you're slipping. Surely "if" is more appropriate to a man of your talents.

Failing that, there's always the get-you-out-of-jail card that is: "Well I didn't tell you because it was going to be a surprise for you." (about three years later when it comes to light.

C-, must try harder.

The badge might say that but the body says otherwise. Why would they advertise an M6 as a 650i?

So would 99% of Six Series owners who favour the two pedalled solution (myself included).

BMW did offer the automated manual 'box on 5/645i & 5/650is alongside manual and automatic, but sold very few of them - single figures in all cases I think - so they are rare.

I'd like to try one to see if I could be convinced, but unless the car were otherwise exceptional, I'd plump for either of the other two 'boxes available.

I've no idea how the bork factor is influenced by the SMG and torquey V8, no more or less libellous than an M6 I'd guess, although that uses a different version entirely.

Interesting though and looks clean and for a not unreasonable price.

ITR is a good call. Not sure I'm in the 'mood' for a minter and there isn't really a bottom end of the market. Have been eyeing up Clio 172s as they seem like a decent compromise and good value.

Oh and for those who followed my brief M Coupe mystery a few days back - I have the VIN and it is shown to be a European 2.8 which means all the M bits have been tacked on but doesn't explain the fact that it is clearly RHD.

Mackie, pop that 650i Sport up in £5-20k barges, thinking about it I'm sure I recall someone there buying a 550i M Sport SMG in the last year-ish.
