I can't take the porsche SUV seriously, it'd have been better if they'd given it it's own style, but as it's a comic 911 every time I see one I get an image of family guy's peter griffin in a childs toy 911 going "look at me lois! I'm driving a porsche! look at me!"
Have you driven one?

Watch this it will show you how capable a Porsche SUV is.

OK, so the video showed a people carrier, sorry SUV, which was slower than a sports car with way less power and torque. What's your point?
The point is that it's quicker than all the cars you've previously owned. Quicker than you're bike too. Even the old basic NA model is quicker than all the cars in your profile. biggrin

Don't knock it till you've tried it. The Cayenne is an incredible machine, wonderful to drive and just about the best real world all purpose transport money can buy.
Is that the point? That a Cayenne Turbo is faster than all the cars I've previously owned? Really?

I thought your point was to show how capable a Cayenne Turbo is, the video link showed it was slower than a less powerful car.

What makes you think I haven't driven a Cayenne? Or a 911? Or far more powerful and capable cars for thousands of miles in a multitude of conditions? You never know, maybe I have.

Finally are you sure that a base model Cayenne is faster than all the cars in my profile? Now it's no Porsche, but an XR6 Turbo Falcon is a pretty quick car. And a base model Cayenne has been shown to struggle against even the weakest NA base model Falcon XT, both in a straight line and in a slalom.

I'm not knocking the Cayenne, I'm just siding with physics.

biggrin

I seem to remember a Cayenne Turbo beating (by some seconds) a Lotus Elise around a circuit (either Croft or Bedford)... was in EVO a few years back....

I'm not a fan, but drove a Turbo for an hour or so at the Leipzig factory over their (ex East Germany Army) off road course, and it was pretty immense off road...

Not my bag, but don't knock untill you've tried it... (say that to my G/F all the time!)....
