The default accusation of jealousy on PH says it all really. You see it applied to all manner of people including, laughably, anti-capitalist protestors.
To accuse others of jealousy, to my mind, demonstrates a lack of ability to see a situation from another's perspective. It suggests that despite what's actually said, this person must share my values, and must wish to be in my financially elevated situation.
FWIW, there's nothing about an Audi R8 that makes me particularly jealous. Each to their own, but there are hundreds of other cars I'd rather have for the money.
Also, Addictive's post a few pages ago, something along the lines of 'you're just jealous because I make more in a week than you make in a year' was just plain obnoxious. No-one speaks like that in person unless they want to alienate everyone else in the room. Saying something like that doesn't make me feel 'ooh, I'm so jealous, I wish I was you', it makes me thing 'what an arrogant prick, I wish he'd shut up.'

OP asks simple question about insurance quote for possible car purchase.
As op is 19 and car is expensive he is immediately accused of being a liar/fantasist/schoolboy
Some useful posts are replied to and posters are thanked by op for their help.
OP refuses to answer personal questions that are irrelevant to his question.
Posters get more abusive and call custard, even though op stated he hasn't bought car yet as not sure if insurance is viable.
Op gets fed up and shows his age with a couple of ill advised posts.
