Looks like it's pretty easy to troll autocar users....
They've now closed down the new user reg page, and you have to email autocar to request to join! LOL Personally I like the new 599 replacement though parts of it look fussy. I reserve full judgement til the 29th though, hopefully Ferrari surprise me again like they did w/ the 458
Another Fat Ferrari to ad to the list . . . all these power houses do is go fast in a straight line and then eat through £1500 worth of rear tyres when going sideways round a corner. Ferrari go back to the 360 CS and 430 Scuderia, Enzo, let Mercedes make the fat exec cars that have more power than sense !!!! Pointless power !!!

Shame there is a Pistonheads banner obscuring the rear roof line
Any chance of a rethink on how images are tagged on here? Loads of times that banner is just a pain in the behind.

Also, I think somebody should call some kind of internet plumber, there's been a lot of leaks today
Steve Sutcliffe over on Autocar has just posted some rumoured officially unoffical performance figures. They're talking 0-124 in 8 secs dead, making it less tha 1 sec slower to that benchmark than a Veyron, and a faintly ridiculous nearly 2 secs faster than a Macca F1!
Er...awesome then

That's how the real car will look like...I was at the presentation and the finished car was in a room (Fiorano's box) next door!
Specs are already all over the internet, so don't think I'm breaking any embargo/secret if I'll say that:
0-100km/h 3.1 sec
0-200km/h 8.5 sec
Weight to power ratio 2.06
740 hp
690 nm @ 6000 rpm
118cv/l
1525 kg
Fiorano lap 1'23"
6262cc
Compression Ratio 13.5
8500 rpm
80% torque available at 2500rpm

ps. This rendering based on the original hidden in shadow shot and this clay model looks quite nice, if a little too pleased with itself....
Happy Ferrari is happy.
