Strip LEDs - a question, please

They are wired in parallel inside their sealed little poly tube "home", aren't they?

That means that I can simply snip them to the lengths I want, doesn't it?

I realise that the offcuts will be dead, but the main runs will be OK, won't they?

Be careful some are some aren’t, some are wired in groups of parallels i.e. you can cut every third one, I’d double check before you hack away
