I get my first ever brand new car tomorrow, on a '12 plate

ok, ok, its a company car, but even so, it's quite a nice feeling when it's something you've never had the pleasure of before!

BMW 520d x3
BMW 1 series (118d and 120d x2)
Mini cooper
Mini cooper S
Mini copper S coupe
Merc c class
Evoque x2
Kia picanto
Jaguar xf
Audi A6 advant
Audi S3

Of them all only the Audi A6 and Kia were white....the Audi A6 being a s-line with full tints did look rather mean though

Nothing to set the world on fire I'm afraid - a focus diesel! That said, have been running round in one for the last month and I like them - lots of standard kit and a nice place to be.

The best 12 plate i have seen

Well I have seen various bored looking business types in their 12 plate slab of german dull in resale grey but this evening i saw a bright yellow corsa polished to death with a little old lady smiling her head off at her brand new car.

So that is the best one i have seen

The Focus I saw on March 1st was like that.

It was a good sunset, and it was immaculate. The owner also had the biggest grin on his face!

Still not seen all that many. Weirdly there seems to be loads of 61 plates knocking about my work car park (multi-let building... our guys are making do with the fact they've done away with company cars shoot).

Mum and Dad are the only 12 platers I know of really, and the knobber successful guy around the corner with the 458 but they all have cherished plates on them (Mum has her initial/year of birth/month of birth on her plate and was born in 1955 so her 12 plate looks like a late 2005. Not that she cares.

Saw a '12' plate Avensis driven by a knob this morning.
Thanks a lot for going through the roadworks traffic lights on red and subsequently blocking the road. mad

Oh yes, that subtle facelift actually looks quite nice (being serious).
There was a bright orange GTR up the road though which stole the obsessing crown, still thinking about the Avensis a bit though. hehe

I thought that the face-lift looks very smart. IMO it is the car that Toyota should have designed in the first place. Yes it is still dull, but very smart.

Oh dear, what am I saying!! laugh

They look smart but they have quite shoddy build quality and material quality.

If they'd have done that then nobody would have bought the improved facelift tongue out
