Saw on last night without any sign of trade plates ????

Passed a few on the way to work this afternoon, the best has got to be the 12 plate Nissan GTR.....

Just a shame the owner went with the last three reg letters GTR :-(
The plates were probably on the back seat / in the passenger footwell - not technically legal but common practice.

What's wrong with a GTR plate on a GTR?!
Never been a fan of plates matching a car, then again, I guess I wished it was my GTR.... :-)

Saw a red A3 diesel today.

But my first 12 plate was over a week ago - a white XF driven on the road with trade plates. It was near the Jag dealer in Sheffield but seemed strange as the dealership is fairly small so having a car hanging around for 7 or so days (assuming it's a customer's) would be a pain.

Saw a 12 plate 911 Carrera GTS today, I seem to be doing quite well so far with these spots.

I drove back from Devon to Berkshire today and was looking out for 12 plates to pass the time...didn't see one. Makes my 4 week old 61 plate look old now, but that was the leasing company's choice; they all get out of date within 6 months anyway these days.

There was a 12 plate Cayenne parked in the managing directors space at work today, so that's where my pay rise went!

Saw a transporter full of Hyundai 4x4 things, can't rememeber the first part of the plates, but let's say it was KE12. The cars were, on face value, exactly the same (colour, wheels etc). The plates were KE12GRG, KE12GRH, KE12GHJ etc etc.

Saw a 12-plate Fiat 500 TwinAir in white with trade plates on filling up at Asda this afternoon, a new Kia Rio fresh off a transporter still wrapped up on the same route followed very closely by a new Fiat Panda Dynamic. Local Kia and Fiat dealer here share a showroom...

That's like our Uni SUs three LDV Maxus Minibusses, all **57 AYF, AYH etc, and when I bought my car, there was its twin at another south coast Peugeot dealer, reg ending in WDU, rather than WDS, saw a black 5dr version on my way home from picking it up ending in WD# too.

I've seen so many 12 plates already. Mostly last month, though I do work at a car dealership where they are all locked up around the back.

Left the house this morning to see that one of the neighbours has a '12 plate Jaguar XF - he's Sales Manager at the local Jaguar dealer so I'm not surprised really! It'll probably have the dealer's private plate on before long.

I spent 5 years in car sales. In that time I sold one new car in white - a Rover 220SDi 5-dr with optional passenger airbag and air-con. The colour, let alone the extras meant it a factory order.

How times have changed.
