I was put off by the looks of the MP4 late last year and bought an Aston Vantage S.
Bizarrely thats got my interest again frown
I know I shouldn't though getmecoat
My point exactly and this is something that I have heard repeated quite a few times. Barring a few exceptions, people in the market for a supercar aren't really looking for subtle as they probably already have other cars for that. I certainly know that if I was looking to spend £200k plus on a supercar, it would need to excite me a damn site more, even before I got in it than the Macca can muster at the moment.

I'd make a few subtle changes to the Mansory one, but all in, I prefer it to the standard MP4.

Make it go away!!

Great - Mansory have stuck loads of useless st to a car that McLaren spent years perfecting the way it was.

Does any of that crap do anything useful? i doubt it. One for the Arab\clueless premier league footballer market i guess....

Really surprised at the positive reception this car is getting on PH, considering the (completely warranted) hatred Mansory usually generate.

I agree it's nowhere near as hideous as I was expecting. Perfect for all the people who complained that the standard car is too bland.

Think I'd still have a 458, instead. Then again, if I could afford either, I'd probably get one of each...

I like it. Better than the original anyway. Wheels need to be black though.

Interesting that they've mentioned the power, the torque, and the size of the wheels; but not how much weight they've saved.

I prefer it to the standard model, though 25 profile tyres? We may as well just put an elastic band on the rims. smile

I think its about time Mclaren did some major fiddling with this car..

Get the bd up to 1000 bhp, put a 400k price tag on it and make the Veyron look like what it is.. an overpriced, over engineered rich mans willy on wheels.

its got the potential!
There's no such thing as over engineered.

They've nearly made the Mclaren interesting!
