I just tried phoning both numbers - no reply on the first one, and the second is switched off.

Ah well, could have had some fun there!

It could of course be genuine and they have been sat on it for ages and can't shift it, I doubt traders would be looking for these at auction so drop the price nice and low To get shot ?

They are expensive to run, my dad had one for about 90k from nearly new and managed 21.6mpg average over that distance which was mostly motorway mileage.

Tyres are about £200 a corner, v8 servicing costs with fully synthetic etc etc.

Despite that I'd have one at this price, quite a pleasant barge like drive IMO and great for motorway work if you don't mind the fuel costs.

They make quite a good noise too once the baffles start to deteriorate biggrin

If it has sat for ages, the mileage has gone up more than 140,000 in less than 12mths. smile

Ok, maybe it's another one and they can't be arsed to take pics/put up the wrong ones etc.

16.1mpg showing on the OBC, they must've been driving it gently to do that well - IIRC you could just about eke it out to 22mpg on a long run. I remember being outraged when my dad put £75-worth of fuel into his back in 2001, hate to think what it would cost to fuel one of those nowadays!

I can't believe some posters think this advert might be legit? It's so obviously a scam! X5s are getting cheap but not that cheap!

Apparently RMT Cars don't currently have any cars in stock. Aused car dealer, with zero stock!

I'm assuming that's a snide website to make the scammers look a little more legit?

I saw that site, but I don't think it's the same people/person. For one thing, it's a different phone number, and that site does have some history of cars advertised on AT.

The seller of the X5 also seems to be about 150 miles from me, according to AT and Darlington is 370 miles away!

They've had it a while. The leaves on the trees are green, and the temp gauge says 19 degrees celsius. I'd run, myself.
Well done Sherlock.

I'd take a guess the pic was taken on 20th July 2011 at about 1.03pm.
Smartarse! hehe
