She looks a bit of a bargain. http://www.wightbay.com/cars-for-sale/porsche-924-...

I like 80's wedgieness and have had a couple of TR7s before.
How about this?

Pop up lights, ripsnorter of an engine, grp body, galvanized chassis, suffering a little from Lucasitus from the description. Could be a bargain or bottomless pit. Either way a proper Se7en donor.
Another Facebook suggestion. Someone who knows I like Luc Besson films.

-old Audis, including the GT5S quattro
-lesser-engined BMW E21s/E30s/early '80s 5-series
-late Cortinas, XR3is
-Hillman Hunter
-Jaguar XJ40
-Scimitar SS1
-Renault Fuego
-Rover SD1
-Saab 99/900
-Toyota Celica/MR2
-Triumph Dolomite
-nearly all classic Vauxhalls of the mini-muscle-car era
Nice list there. -lesser-engined BMW E21s/E30s/early '80s 5-series

Audi = Dub-Scene
E21s are superb, E30's less so fives are a bit too bargey and nearly all for drivers with one leg.
XR's are a good shout thrashed, trashed or parts held together by rust for the budget.
Cortina/Granada cool but as bargey as the BMW five series.
Hillman Hunters with the mighty Roots engine is a nice budget version of the MkII Cortina.
XJ40 did they ever do a manual version?
Scimitar SS1 great cars, as under rated as the MX5 used to be. Pop up-ish headlights and either 180sx or CVH power (that I would bin in favor of a Zetec or ZVH). I have two on my watch list.
Feugo N/A ones in budget, needs a turbo to keep up with my Cinquecento Sporting. Doesn't the Volvo T5 drop straight in?
SD1 of course.
SAAB 99/900 Never really appealed to me but very capable.
Celica GT4 yes, everything else is ballast.
MR2 X-1/9 replica.
Dollies very capable chassis but bargain or bottomless pit for the budget.
The Vauxhall Viva one of only three GM Europe cars I would consider owning.

Yep, first XJ without a manual option was the X308 V8, which means there are a few X300 XJR's with manual gearboxes around.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JAGUAR-XJ6-X300-SPORT-ra...

750 wont buy you much & you will end up spending out on it once you have got something
spend the money on a decent second hand mountain bike from ebay you will be able to pick up a very high quality bike which would have cost twice that much from new.
Trek, Marin, Scott, Specialised etc are some of the top brands to consider.
all have qualtiy components that will last.
get out with your mates early on a sat or sun morning & before you know it you have done 25 miles in a few hrs. makes you feel great & you burnt off a few thousand caleries.
weathers getting better & clocks change soon as well so even more reaseon to get out & ride
I already commute (twenty eight miles a day) on a Specialized Camber Comp with slicks. 750 wont buy you much & you will end up spending out on it once you have got something

It was wrong wheel drive anyway.

Actually I'm watching this very closely...

...finishes just before eleven so I can't imagine many people bidding for it on a school night.

V8, cool, up the road from me and no reserve. What are the chances of this staying within budget?

...apart from the after market wheels, leather seat covers, chrome bumper conversion, 74 grille and ST front valance.
Very nice though and should go way over budget.
