Hi everyone! looking for a more eco car so considering diesel but still want a fun and exciting drive if pushed. Sort of asking for the world but thought i'd see if anyone mentions anything I havn't thought of.

I have been looking at Ibiza Cupra 1.9 TDi sort of a guide line plus think it may be fun remaped.

Cheers

When you say an "eco" car, do you mean economical? If so, get a £200 banger, run it until it breaks and buy another one.

530D, 200Bhp near enough and a cracking RWD chassis biggrin, remap makes them a monster!

Might need a bit of work, but nothing major, what a car for the money!

What is a "big diesel car"? The Bora? You do know it's just a Golf/Leon/A3 with a boot? (As is an Octavia, btw.)

I had a remapped 406 hdi coupe all remap files are open source. It was around 180bhp (the new owner is getting on to 200bhp) but i got about 35 mpg. It would be cheaper to go petrol I think unless you are doing 15k+ a year.
