you know, i don't actually hate that anywhere near as much as i thought i would. I was expecting a high-roofed GTC (I hate the GTC) but it seems more castle-like than that. Based on the mulsanne front end etc. Maybe the idea of an SUV is more "on-brand" for Bentley than it is for a lot of mfrs that make them these days

Could it be that Bentley have an SUV in the wings which is neither stylish nor ugly and this is, in fact, some reverse psychology designed to make the real one look fabulous in comparison...

I can't see this selling over even the Jeep-based Maser Kubang.

May just be me, but the more I look at it, the more I like it..
I'd definitely buy one if I somehow had the money.

I genuinely hate that this exists.

I am not a footballer but have an old School Bentley and a new one. I was interviewed by their market research people after I bought the last one and when talking about the brand and what it means I said "for example if you make an SUV then I'm never buying another Bentley of any kind; if I want a high end SUV then I'd buy a w12 Q7". There was a short silence then they asked a different question.

I rest my case m'lud.

Did Bentley not learn from the Aston Martin concept a couple of years back....? (was it the Lagonda?)

It doesn't really matter what we think as its not aimed at people living in a modern democracy with established systems of governance, or those of us who might have accumulated wealth in some legitemate way.

Perverse: - does it remind anyone else of a Studebaker Lark?

On a separate note, they'll be breathing a sigh of relief in Solihul/Gaydon.

Good work.

It's quite a feat to portray an Austin Maxi as an example of understated elegance.

It looks like a 1970's 'concept vehicle' for an 'upmarket people carrier of the future'...unbelievable.

Bentley - the EXP 9 F Design Concept Story (Youtube)

Claims the Bentley is the only 12 cylinder SUV - doesn't Audi do one?

Holy mother that looks abysmal.

Never has the gordon brown facepalm pic been more required than now.

Yes their sister company's V12 TDi Q7, the chassis/parts of which I wouldn't be surprised to find under the Bentley frock.

Excellent - no W12 petrol though I take it?
