Was this the same Will Colebrook that said he had his own business?

I wouldnt say being a Model for Hollister is your own business!
Unless he owns his own agency and sub-contracts to Hollister. That's usually how us models work.

Anyone else hate the R8?

It's just a piss ugly waste of £100k in my opinion.

For that money, there's so many nicer cars i out there.

An awful lot of chips on rather broad shoulders on display here. So a young guy was speeding in a foreign country in a nice car, not the first and deffo not the last. If you can afford to fk about at a young age, all power to you.
If it were 53, maybe 63 in a 40 I would agree, but it was two and a bit times the posted limit, no matter who you are, whatever the car that isn't right, age and having a nice car don't get you round the speed limits, he was driving like a cock and got caught, if you are a man and do the crime, then you have to do the time. That isn't jealousy, if I drive my old 944 at 113 in a 50 I expect the same and don't expect dispensation due to being 41 and being "experienced".

'Rally' is the wrong name for these events.

What is the word for a collection of c0cks? long on cash and short on sense?

That word would be a more effective description.

Nothing wrong with the R8 at all, been in one, and probably one of the best cars I have been in, far better than the Gen 1 Gallardo, and the LP570 Superleggera. All IMO of course.

I've only every seen a few of them.

Every time, the R8 was being driven very badly, so while the car
itself might well be fine, it does seem to attract idiot drivers.

Volvo for the folks with more cash than brains, possibly.

I agree with the previous comment about inappropriate speed restrictions...

We all know roads that are 50 limits and are perfectly safe to drive on at 113. I hope he gets it back if id been caught in my car id still want it back even to sell it so i could pay the fine.

I doubt he cares if they keep his car, easy come easy go. From reading back he looks like he has a new C63 Black coming in June so he wont be off the road for long. Fair play to him, he is only doing what all of us would have been doing at his age if we could have! But 113 in a 50 is a bit naughty!! nono

Unless you are a hermit, you should know how heavy the Swiss are on speeding. No matter where it was, going 100 over the limit will land you serious trouble and is sheer stupidity IMO.

On the R8 note, I personally can't understand why somebody would choose to spend £150k on one. It is getting into a whole different market at that price. Nice situation to be in though.

NO, I love the look the feel etc. To me you have cars that people want to show off in, the Audi is like a Hugo Boss suit, well made refined and slightly understated.

And the V10 noise is up there with the best.

Bought.

I'm not normally a grammar nazi, but the number of people who mistake the past particles of bring and buy is really pissing me off. They're not even similar verbs for fk's sake.
Wont happen again officer sleep
In that context, I would consider that the past tense, not the past participle. It would be the past participle if he had said "His parents have brought him an R8...". Though I don't dispute that "bring" and "buy" are fairly different, it is by coincidence that the third person plural of the past tense is the same as the past participle in this instance.

Anyway, back on topic...

Yoofs in supercars: bad! Driving wrecklessly: bad! Swiss police: bad! Etc.
