I was led to believe the blocks on the gtr cracked as they approached 4 figures so have they found a way to strengthen it or is it a custom block??

Off topic maybe, but can anyone else remember when the GTR was released they had claimed that the ECU's etc would all be locked and it would stop tuners etc building big power versions. Everyone thought it would be the end of tuning nissans. I guess not hehe
I was thinking the same thing, strangely enough!

However, I bet the only part of the management system that is still on that car from when it rolled off the production line is the bracket that holds the ECU in place!

Awesome, 1601bhp and it can put all the power down too, a stock looking road car (OK with shoot and slicks) with an 8.6secs @ 172mph !! is just madness, and it's just getting quicker and quicker all the time with development, hats off to those AMS guys, if I ever won a lottery ticket I'd be knocking on their door to build me one and ship it over to the uk.. smile

You've just GOT to have a race with a Police car from the 'lights, because you know they'll never be able to measure your speed by the time they realise what's going on hehe
