I thought Admiral was a con. The other thing is seperate insurance helps to spread your insurance to renewals at different times of the year, and you still find that specilaist companies give better cover to different cars and drivers of different age.
Admiral multicar is cheaper to insure our Golf GTI and 911 than any of the specialist companies that I tried. The multicar quote was something like 200 p/a cheaper than the combined cheapest quotes that I had got elsewhere. I guess that we must have a favourable risk for them. My dad & in-laws use LV and they are much cheaper than Admiral is for them.

I found Admiral didn't require a tracker fitted whereas a lot of the others do. Take the tracker issue away and Direct Line Multicar were cheaper.

After a bit of discussion, admiral came p with a good quote that worked out a little cheaper. Two things that always strike me as a bit of insurance renewal silliness is that you have to go through the whole pantomime of the quotes being mystically fiddled about with and then you're suddenly presented with a good deal after negotiation - I know that doesn't read very well, but why don't they just come up with their best offer first!!

Oh, and and it's cheaper to leave the cars on the road than lock them away in the garage for some reason I can't fathom!
