Do you even like your car?

Not really, but then it was bought as a stop-gap after my beloved Subaru got wrote off, however four years on and 60k miles later I'm still in the thing, 1999 VW Passat 1.8S, not even a turbo
House, extension and baby have all happened since so harder to justify spending a load of money for soemthing that does 0-60 in less than 6secs.
That said it's cheap to run, had two issues in 60k (O2 sensor and leaking radiator), and I don't give a monkies about it. No worries if it gets scratched, dented, etc.

I'm a bit neutral really. I can't seem to get attached to the Z4.
I love the engine, the economy and noise and smoothness is fantastic.
Interior is nice, the run flats piss me off and I'm pretty sure the parking sensors are borked as well as the head light leveller at the moment.
But it's just come off SORN after 4 months and a blast up to the DVLA offices to put my new plate on put a massive smile on my face. I still panic the clutch or something is about to pop I can't seem to be at ease with it.
I'm sure I'll get there.

'02 Accord and I hate it, I hate driving it, the way it looks, the way it sounds, pretty much everything about it.
Only bought it as an interim as my previous car (S60) was heading towards some big bills and a local garage offered me a generous part-ex.
Not sure what I want next, but the more I think about it, the more I think it will be foolish to get rid of a reliable car just because I don't like it. The cost to change is the biggest sticking point especially with the threat of redundancy in the air.
I may as well keep it and run it into the ground. It has a minor coolant and oil leak, but I can't be bothered sorting it. I bought an oil filter (cheapest I could find on Ebay), but can't motivate myself to even change the oil.

My current car, yes, love driving it, always brings a smile to my face. BMW 528i.
Old car, OK to start with, but soon got bored of it, 1.8 TDDi Focus.
First car, 1.2 Punto. Fun driving it, revving to get anywhere, but always breaking, didn't even get a say in what I wanted, dad just spent my money and got it.

'99 Rover 200 and I do like it. It may be old, rattly and slow, and it has its annoying little habits (just enough coolant loss over a week to be noticeable, for instance) but it's good fun down the roads around here and it hasn't let me down yet (even with a 17 yr old behind the wheel!)
Although it is my first car, and apparently everyone likes their first car.

Like all my cars for different reasons. Wherever I am going and whatever mood I am in one of them will put a smile on my face. I never buy a car that I don't really want, they are all purely my choice. I can honestly say that I have never owned a car that has disappointed me. I could own quicker cars, but as ownership experiences I think my current garage is perfect for me at the moment. Having said swapping in a 993 this summer would complete things and give me nothing to moan about..

I hated mine -1973 Morris Marina with not a single redeeming feature!Although it is my first car, and apparently everyone likes their first car.
I like/love all of my cars , however i totally understand that if your cars been crashed into , keyed or stolen theres a little love lost between the connection you have with your pride and joy .
Its as though the other half went out at the weekend and fancied a snog with that rugby player in the corner and her best mate told you later.
Does that even make sense?

I have a love/hate relationship with my Civic vti-s.
When I'm using it with the missus to and from work, I drive it like a grandad (rarely use VTEC) thus notice niggly little noises. My pet hate at the mo is a backing plate has bent and is scraping my rotor!
However, if I have it on my own and drive it "spiritedly" I fall back in love!

I've done 140k miles in my V6 Merc over the past 4 years. In that time all the mechanics have been done by me.
Now on 220k, I literally couldn't have chosen a better car to do the long commutes I do for my job. In return I reward it with my fuel card. Has seen me through 4 girlfriends, a house move and many a happy a time with my mates. Worthless to anyone but me.

Absolutely love my Civic Type R. If ever I feel I haven't done it justice by bumbling it along to work too much, all it takes is an evening drive, once the engine is hot, the windows come down as I pass the NSL signs and head for 8000rpm, I could never get sick of that. It will be even better with a straight through exhaust on it!
Whatever I replace it with, and it won't be for a long time yet, if it's not another Type R of some sort it will have to be some really special to make me feel that giving up that engine was worth it.

Yes.
Dispite it being a total arse for lack of reliability at times, im on my 4th clutch master cylinder for example.
It's fun to drive, comfy on long journeys, is in decent condition thanks to my almost fastidious upkeep of the dam thing. Just needs a few finishing touches for cosmetics and such.
I keep wanting to change it then want to keep it, but ive had it 3 years and i will be sad when it does eventually go.
It shall stay for a while yet though as ive other things to deal with before buying a new car.
