Doesn't look sped up in the slightest to me. Other cars looking fast is hardly surprising seeing as the video was obviously shot at some silly time in the morning, no traffic = much faster than average speeds.

I drive most of those roads very regularly and suspect I've driven up constitution hill (shwon from 1.00 onwards) at quiet times at similar speeds, maybe a tad less, and it certainly wasn't sped up.

People seem to think you can just speed up a video to make things look faster without anyone really noticing. You can't. Trasnporter 3 is a good example of how obvious sped up car footage/chases is even from a fairly big budget hollywood film:

Anyway, crap vid. Not actually excitiing, no skilled car driving, dangerous idiot, barely a hillclimb (half of the route is flat or downhill) and generally a waste of time bar the fact that I know the roads which made it vaguely interesting.

Fake or not, it's a pretty intense video. There is another similar video of someone doing the same thing in a Focus RS MK2 - that one I remember being pretty obvious, partly because the Focus appeared to be accelerating like a 400bhp 4WD car!

All those people who think it's not sped up...

ETA: Let me clear that statement up a bit having just watched it again. BITS of it are sped up. Biggest clue? 2.01. Look at the frequency of the belisha beacons and how fast the pedestrian moves. Oncoming van at 3.09. Again too fast. 3.36, again the lights flash too quickly.
