Hi all,

I have recently fitted a supercharger to my Tvr Chimaera 400 and booked it in to be tuned on a rolling road.
6 weeks on I still haven't got my car back, has anyone else had this experience?

Wow that is a LONG time to get a full rolling road setup. When you factor in that it was booked in.

Visited said RR 7/8 years ago for a Rolling Road day. Wouldn't recommend them or go back to be honest. Really hope you get it back soon.

Everytime I phone them they say something needs doing and more time on the rolling road is needed.
Then they put me back in the queue while other people get their cars done before mine.
Surely mine has priority.

Why did you leave your car? Surely you drive in and a couple of hours later drive out again?

Without sounding harsh - man up and get down there. It sounds like they are taking you for a ride.

It is your car. Time to be direct and forthright. You are being taken for a numpty. Do not allow this.

Written contact is much more consequential than phone calls.

Send a strongly worded letter about the disgraceful delay and poor service by recorded delivery.

Arrange a date to collect within seven days. Collect the car.

Otherwise this will go on and on. Then seek appropriate redress.

No. Do not send letters. Just go there give them a deadline and if they don't meet it take the car.

Have you seen the car since you left it there?

Dont beat around the bush.

Go and get your car. Pay for whatever you feel is appropriate then leave.

Plenty of professional companies out there.

Have you actually paid them in advance, OP?
Visit in person to collect the car, with friends if need be.

Calm down dear. Just go get the car, its not that big a deal. No need for stern letter, a group of handy PH goatee friends or any other crap.

Did you make a note of your mileage when you left the car? Are you sure someone hasn't taken it out and maybe had a slight.... well, I'm sure you get the gist.

Get down there sharpish and reclaim your wheels.
