Hi, bit of an odd one this.

I live in an apartment block and my car is parked unsighted by me.

Some lovely person has decided that they like spitting on my car.

I am thinking perhaps I can install some kind of wireless camera inside the car to record what goes on, especially if the problem escalates?

Does anyone at all have any experience of this kind of thing or any pointers at all?

Many thanks.

Wireless IP camera? If it is in range of your wireless network you can monitor it easily. Or maybe a webcam attached to a laptop. Or if it happens at a regular time, hide in the car?

What a shame. At the expense of being part of the 'weak give up' brigade, can you park it elsewhere?

The reason I suggest this is that even with CCTV there is little chance of getting identification, and zero chance of recompense (the police won't be bothered and they will have no money for compensation in any case).

It's also the case that the person doing this will be so idle they won't cross over the road or make any effort to continue to do what they do - they will change to someone else.

What car is it?

Unless it's one of his neighbours from the same apartment block.

I favour lurking in the nearest available bush armed with a bucket of wallpaper paste made with piss, poised to retaliate in the event of a repeat expectoration. hehe

Are you sure it isn't a bird with a stomach problem?

Thank you for the replies, just about to follow the links, but in brief;

It's allocated parking so cannot park elsewhere.

My car is a VW R32, so nothing exotic.

Pretty sure not a bird with a stomach problem (my initial reaction & one I would have preferred in all honesty!)

Thanks again for links & replies, much appreciated, about to have a read.
