Winter Tyre Pressure
Discussion
Providing the winter tyre is the same size, use the same pressure as the same internal volume will need to be inflated.
I'm yet to see one vehicle manufacturer recommendation that states anything other than that - unless there's a staggered summer fitment and the winter spec if a square set-up.

Alfa 147 handbook states that winter tyres should be up two psi over normal. I'm yet to see one vehicle manufacturer recommendation that states anything other than that - unless there's a staggered summer fitment and the winter spec if a square set-up.
Same size wheels and tyres summer and winter.
There's a fair few places i read winter tyres should be inflated more then normal, a quick google shows up a raft of websites, here's just one of the links - http://www.tirerack.com/winter/tech/techpage.jsp?t...
Just to make sure its not all season tyres i am talking about but proper winter tyres. If its stock i should be going then fair enough as long as it is whats best for the car and tyres, Thanks.

Does it give a reason as to why it should be increased?
