We really have no idea how to do garages in this country.

mines a snug fit, drive in at an angle plus hold in drivers side mirror.

WTF? What do you live in? Yoda's house or something - how can that tiny little car be so squashed in?
How do you get out once parked? If the roof is on my Elise, the door needs to be nearly fully open to allow me out.

More likely lots of small turns.
Surely the easiest would be to drive into that last parking space, then reverse back against the wall, then a nice easy drive down.

Isn't that one of those vinyl print things that you can put on the garage door, that is detailed enough to make it look like the door is open and something's inside?

No,

What a stupid idea they are, just attracting tea leaves IMO.
hehe it would take a particulalrly special tea leaf to think, "blimey that guys got a space shuttle, I'll have that"

Slightly O/T

Not a driveway/garage but a public road. Had to visit a client and let TomTom guide me there, goes without saying I ended up emerging between the two bollards. It was quite tight for a public road. For a laugh I returned the same route and it was a bit of squeeze negotiating the right hand bend just out of shot.

Google streetview car was lucky not to encounter this earlier along the same road

my garage entrance is 4 inches wider than my mirrors. Its a bit wider once your in but I still have to park at an angle to get out of the car.

My garage is nice and big but it faces a very narrow lane. I can't quite get out without reversing back a bit to clear the fence opposite.

there's a multi story in Reading town, that (for some reason) has shutters on the ramp for the roof level.
Now for some reason, the gap is a 60/40 split.
On the way out, i juuuustttt squeaked through in my one series.
The Range rovers and Q7's i parked next too might have something to say about it on the way out.

Yup.

TomTom has taken me down roads "not suitable for vehicles", seriously!
