My Dad was walking around his farm yard today and noticed a car door opening at 1pm.

Sees a 18yr old in it and calls me over in case he's a thief etc

A confused lad stumbled out

It seems he was off his face last night and decided to climb the farm gate, walk 100m down the drive and then found an unlocked car and went to sleep !

Quite why he was in the area or what he thought he was doing I have no idea.

He asked if he was near the town centre, we said no and pointed him in the direction (it's about 10 miles away) and he wandered off.

I got the impression it wasn't an unusal experience for him - it was a first for us.

We have but the guy wasn't aggressive, he hadn't got a clue where he was or how he got there and bearing in mind it was then 1pm on probably the hottest day of the year - I think he was probably a bit cooked too.

Very odd, where do you reckon he came from? 10 miles to the nearest town. Would'nt have thought he walked it to yours!

He asked if he was near the City centre (It's a farm - surrounded by fields, pretty hard to confuse with B'ham city centre)

However he did then ask if we were near a canal (about 400m away) maybe he stowed away / stole / partied on a barge ?

Lol what a goof, how far are you from the City Centre? I'm right next to it and don't think there's any farms within miles of it?

He was one of those teenagers who wears their trousers 6" too low - around their bum.

Don't think they get married

Afterall if you can't manage to wear a pair of trousers....
