A girl mate of mine used to drive a JCB Fastrac, she would regale us with tales of it's greatness at every opportunity

You clearly haven't met Amazon then?

At the last count I believe that she had 2 Cerberas and a Chimaera, and she really drives them driving

Nope - and as she lives about 350 miles from me, it's not all that surprising really!

yes

Mobile Chicane has an Elise, and is a girl
There are a female Caterham owners about, and a few even sprint and race them (some to a very high standard).

Mrs Noger drove mine at Brands Hatch, some poor chap in a Supra couldn't keep up with her (she was blissfully unaware of anything behind, not suggesting this is good TD behaviour) and he seemed somewhat shocked that a girl in a 135bhp car could go quite so fast smile

Not suggesting women can't drive well - my missus learned to drive in a WRX Impreza and tested a new (at the time) Supra soon after passing. She's a pretty good driver. Just don't see many women in certain cars.

Theres a middle aged woman I see regularly on my commute home in her yellow s1 elise.

One of the food tech teachers at school drove an elise s2 too.

I don't see many in Evo's or Scooby's.

Blimey, you need to go on a PH run or two. I've seen them turn up in His 'n Hers TVRs. smile

Ok, rally-replicas then. Never seen a woman driving one of those, and have always presumed it's 'cos they'd be too embarrassed to.

Fwiw, in my neck of the woods just about every 4x4 is drive by a woman.

FSO

I can't imagine any woman wanting to get in one, letalone drive one. Unless she is heavy set with a smattering of facial hair, poor dress sense and goes by the name of Olga.

So the title should read, "Marques you don't see women driving in my back yard".
Now I get it smile
