FFS! Honestly! What's wrong with some of the people on here!?? Isn't it obvious which side of the car has been hit? Surely you don't need a diagram, satellite footage of the accident, an insurance investigators report etc to work out what happened!!!? Idiots rolleyes

Sorry, yes it's what I would call outside lane of a roundabout, i.e. the furthest one out but yes it would be classed as inside lane of a road. It's drivers door, rear door and rear panel.

I had gone past him as far as my wing mirror before the impact, I was doing 20mph ish and he was moving out from a stationary queue of traffic.

Best part was when we pulled over to exchange details, I got out of the car and walked over to his car and as he got out he forgot to put his handbrake on and rolled into the back of me! rolleyes

Looks like it was just a glancing blow, could have been a lot worse. Still, not what you need on a Wednesday morning. What did the other driver say?
Yep you're right, I didn't even see it happen as I had gone past where I could see him. He could have spun me out if he had hit more towards the back I suppose. Oh well one for the insurance companies to sort out!

Unless you claim direct from the third party theres a chance it'll go 50:50 as it was on a roundabout

I thought this would be the case and it stinks! There was nothing 50-50 about it, I was in the correct lane and he drove into me, there was nothing I could do any different to avoid it.

He changed lanes when it wasnt clear.
I think thats pretty clear.
You dont have to not undertake on a roundabout if your lane is moving.

You can undertake slow-moving traffic at any time, not just roundabouts. This guy was definitely in the wrong 100%.

Where does the OP mention which side of the car was hit? Has there been an edit or a deleted post, 'cos I can't see it.
Do you have no common sense?

Think about it- if that was the passenger side, then the door handles are in a strange place!

Cheers chaps(!)

I'm at the office and photobucket is blocked - so I didn't even know there was a photo in the OP! Sorry for confusion!
