The morons are pushing the prices up...!!
Discussion
So, people are panic buying, filling their cars to the brim incase there is a strike. This morning unleaded at the local station was 141.9, yesterday it was 137.9!! Obviously the garage owner has seen a market & is rubbing his hands. Will the price come down after the panic? Of course not!!
My car is empty, I need it for the 200 mile work commute next week, I fill it up on a Sunday night for the weeks that its my turn to drive (I car share). I will still be going this Sunday, not before, and guess what? If there is no fuel then there is no fuel.....I refuse to panic buy!
This is the reason our local stations have shoved the price up!!
I don't mind people filling up who do the miles as its understandable but there are morons here in the office who have brimmed every car in the household that live 1 mile away from work!!! IDIOTS!!
Judging by the cars at the filling station this morning they were not people who do the miles (lots of cacky little hatchbacks being filled with milf!!), so why fill the Prickanto to the brim???
(PS - I know this is a poor rant as I have not sworn enough or made enough sweeping generalisations!)

Just spotted it.
I like the fuel baron idea. I'm going down there now to fill up my wheelie bin with petrol, what could possibly go wrong?
You will end up with no bin and no fuel.I like the fuel baron idea. I'm going down there now to fill up my wheelie bin with petrol, what could possibly go wrong?
Life could be worse.
