Can't remember who said it (it was a yoof) or where but for me it's:

someone said:
I got 1 A*, 1 A and 1 B at A-Level. That makes me one of the cleverest people here

Have you considered a Camaro/TR8/Landy/Sherman Tank?
Cue three pages of thread insulting those who haven't owned a Camaro/TR8/Landy/Sherman Tank and have nothing valuable to add.

That's a little unfair. For one thing it's TR7. For another its a Jeep, not a Sherman tank.

And it was 5 pages of insults, not 3. biggrin

As I said, I can't remember on which topic it was posted.

It stands out in memory purely due to the mix of arrogance and ignorance that only the late teens can provide. That and the fact there are some exceptionally bright people on PH.

I seem to recall a thread about someone in a Smart car and they were keeping up with a Tuscan/Tuscan couldn't shake them off.

"move over next time" is the specific line that sticks to mind...

Every time I see a Tuscan to this day, I still think to myself - "I wish I had a Smart car, then I could take him"...

Finally, I will be starting a petition for all horse riders to have to have tax, insurance, identification, and to also clear up after their animals when they defecate on the public highway. Would anybody be interested in signing this? I too have been abused, and I now fear to go out on my own in my car in case I am also accused of an offence, and left in court with no chance of acquitting my name.

Good advice for a happier britain. That suggestion does not belong in this thread.

That said, I'd have suggested a gold '74 firebird, like Jim Rockford's.

I don't buy this 150 mph majority thing.....

And this is coming from 147 indicated in a 997 C2S (on a private road of course). That car simply gobbled it up - but not without serious commitment and a significant clear gap.

My old M3's weren't a patch at that speed and when you get to the big numbers things start to slow down dramatically......so if you think your 200bhp family saloon is getting to 150mph anytime soon you've got another thing coming......

Anything north of 130 and you'll be accelerating through treacle......
