OK, it was April 1, but i think this is genuine. On Page 9

Its what is written that made me smile not what happened
Sorry its not a scan

A man has died after being hit by a bus that left the road. James Lochrie, 62,was standing at a bus shelter on Cathcart Road in th south side of Glasgow when he was knocked down at about 8am yesterday. Police say the relativs of Mr Lochrie from Castlemilk had been made aware.
The 44 yr old bus driver was not hurt.

Just over 90 mins later, another man died in a second unrelated accident lass than 20 miles away. The 44 yr old died at the scene after his car hit a tree on the A71

Now my thoughts got out to both of the guys involved, but does anyone else think it is a bad piece of writing, possible implying something that isn't there?

OK,

What i find wierd is the fact this reporter needed to put down that the other accident was unrelated.

Surely 90mins later and 20 miles way would intimate this
