i thought i had bargain motoring with my boring 11 year old volvo, but i have just done the sums and it is coming out at 54ppm and that has no unforseen breakages, a pair of tyres a year, 10,000 miles @ 20mpg and normal depreciation

i must be doing it wrong.......

I want an Alfa 159 to be honest ... Lol.

So the whole reason I started this was to CONVINCE myself that a Corsa is still expensive to run and the 159 Alfa cant be " that much more " lol

Motoring is just bloody expensive.

Im looking at just over £850.00 for a 3.2 159.

Not bad in my opinion.

The figures become more depressing when you calculate how much of those running costs goes to the Treasury.

Don't put the idea into my head. Please!

The amount of money would be awful.

I wonder if someone is reading my " groan " and thinking ....

That's nothing compared to my SL55 AMG or something lol
