Some anus banged a massive dent into the wing of my car and just drove off. I'd love to go round to their house and break all the things they care about. fking prick.
+1 for me too. BMW wanted about £1100 to fix it, needless to say it hasn't been repaired yet so it has been looking this for nearly 2 years, I have pulled most of it out by hand and glued the repeater back in, can't be arsed with insurance claim and getting raped on the renewals. Scum that do this sort of stuff should have their face submerged in a bowl of battery acid in front of their family and then their house set on fire.

Edit to add: Had all four dust caps nicked on an M3 too, ferfuxsake what is it with some tw8ts!!

Had mine nicked off my daily beetle 67 told there parents nothing from them. As its something to expect to have done to my car.

I got them back after I caught them. When I asked them why, they had no answer as to why they did it. I said how would you like it done on your dads car no reply.

It all starts in the home.

RANT OVER SORRY!!!

Looks like a reversing truck/mid-side lift-rear truck?

Can't you source a black wing from a salvage place?
I had CCTV which showed likely culprit to be a LR Discovery that reversed into it but it was dark and not totally conclusive, it actually only went to prove how useless their CCTV was (outside a Labour Club on their car park). I have tried sourcing a salvage wing (its oriental blue BTW wink ) and they are like rocking horse poo unfortunately. I will probably get a painted wing from BMW and DIY, probably cost less than £400 all in, might have a go at it in the summer.

We saw a young chav type swing wildly into a parking spot at our local supermarket and hit the car in the adjacent space. He reversed out, clocked me looking directly at him and got out of his car to inspect the damage (which wasn't much). "Is this your car?" he asked. Nope. "Is it her car?" pointing to my wife. Nope. I suggested he simply leave his details on a piece of paper under the wipers. He then parked next my wife's car and we faffed about unloading the boy and shopping bags etc. very slowly to make sure he didn't just drive off. By the time he'd finally written something on a piece of paper the other car's owner had come out and we left them to it. I thought perhaps he was a decent chap after all despite looking like chav scum...

The next morning my wife's car had a flat. On the side that was next to chav boy's car when he parked. He'd waited until we'd gone and then taken a valve cap off and put a small stone inside it and put it back on so that the tyre slowly deflated. Chav scum after all. Doubly glad that we hung around to make sure he informed the owner of the car he'd damaged.

Paint stripper poured over every panel on my 1984 Ford Orion. Was such a shame, owned by an old boy it only had 19k on the clock and was mint.

I was sat in traffic in a rough place near where I live, I saw a big gang of Asain youths attacking a car up ahead. The car drove off at speed on the wrong side of the road. I kept going down in the traffic thinking "god he must have pissed them off" as the gang was retreating they caught site of the blondey in my passanger seat and started shouting... lets just say inappropriate comments. I didn't realise, and I didn't realise she had stuck twos up at them. From nowhere Pakistani Jackie Chan came in the a flying kick quickly followed by the rest of the mob. I thought about getting out, then thought against it and launched the car down the wrong side of the road hehe a witness pulled me over, said she'd seen everything and gave me her details. At the police station I was shocked the hear the women interviewing me had the same done the month previous in the same place whilst on her way to work. Nobody was ever caught. Engine blew a couple of months after and the car was scrapped frown

Also, a wanna be gangster drug dealer fellow once smashed my car windows with a hammer whilst it was parked on my girlfriend (his ex's) drive. I caught up with him four days later, I got a nice bite mark on my face and he got a nice big black eye. Only £85 for the windscreen and £15 for the side window fortunately smile

Mr B 500 quid max should see that repaired to a very high standard by a 4* body shop. If needs be get a second hand wing and then get the body shop to strip respray and fit still no more than 500.

Had the front bumper on one of my cars resprayed and it cost 250 and wasnt exactly an easy job but came out perfectly.

On a plus side I have seen the other side of the coin when a builders van reversed into my friends car and left a note saw it out the window (2nd floor office) and managed to film him on my phone before he left then went and checked the note which had full details sorted out for less than the company excess
There are still some good people out there

Rear window smashed on my 106 Rallye, for no apparent reason.

Oh, and left my ZX in a car park, came back to find a piece of bumper trim sitting next to it that was previously attached (although only loosely biggrin - wasn't too fussed about that one)

Yeah I had looked at other shops and got a price around the £600 mark so shopping around more I could get it lower. The wings bolt on thats what made me think DIY, yeah I know it won't be that simple, but I can get a genuine BMW wing and have it painted in a BMW shop for less than £400 so it looks tempting to go that route.

I have had a couple of incidents, one in Xscape Caslteford when I can only assume somebody squeezed past my then 3 week old ST with a ski/snowboard bag and took a chunk of paint out of the bonnet £190 for a bonnet re-spray irked

A year and a bit later I came back to my car (parked in an overflow carpark so no CCTV) in Whitby to find the passenger door dinted and a scrape where some fcensoredg tcensoredt had opened their door into it, I had parked considerately too leaving a nice gap at all sides (unusually large spaces for an overflow carpark) another £300 bill irked

Disrespectful scum bags should be shot and thrown into a power station furnace then at least they are being of use to society.

Found my car like this one day. Seems to be a common occurrence on my street. Fortunately it's only an old Focus and I've managed to stick it back together with gaffer tape.

Can pick up a new one off eBay or from a scrappy fairly cheap but it'd only happen again.

Holy hell what a rip off. As said if bmw can do it for 400 including wing and respray you can bet your ass a body shop could do it for 3-350 all in.

The £400 BMW quote was to supply just the painted wing unfortunately. Their full quote included painting the door and bonnet "to blend in the colour match", replacing the gloss strip on the door (nothing wrong with it but they will need to take it off to paint the door and they always break apparently) new repeater, new wheel arch liner, blah blah, you get the drift, that'll be 1100 quid please sir, that'll fk right off then.

Only once have I had damage done thankfully, but it was particularly nasty (especially as I was 19 and had to claim on the insurance).

First day temping in the finance department of a hotel chain and some scrotes break into my Saxo via the well known method of a hole below the lock and some jiggery pokery to lift the pin. Not content with just stealing the stereo they proceeded to nick my golf clubs from the boot and then smash every window (This is in a busy hotel car park btw). The crowning glory was one of them curling a turd out on my back seats. Sadly the pictures are long gone vomit

Once it was repaired I had to trade it in, I just couldn't get comfortable in it again

Had both sides of mine keyed.
Someones also scraped the front corner of my car in my work carpark, left a note saying it was me clipping their car as well cheeky sod, until I pointed out that I'd opened up at 8.45 so I was the first in the car park, that shut them up.

Parents' cars broken into when I was younger and stereos taken. Scrotes came to the club where I was working as a barman and offered to sell me the radios back for £25 and 'we knew which one was yours so left it'. Door staff managed to persuade them to leave and not to do it again.

Whilst at Uni in Belgium some incredible amusing students kept pinching the side repeaters from my Polo. They got caught in the act and persuaded that it wasn't a good idea and that they should pay for the five sets that they had stolen previously.

Smart Roadster Coupe was broken into and the thief stole my Space CD, an empty coke bottle painted (badly) to look like R2D2 and my kite. Feckwit eventually got caught for something else and they matched his DNA so he got his comeuppance (well done BIB) and I got £15 victim's compensation (presumably £100 for the kite, £1 for the R2D2 and -£86 for admitting to owning a Space CD).

Scrote in Morrisons car park decided to key all the panels of my Roadster. I hope he/she rots in hell for an eternity. Twice.

Dumbass lady rolled backwards into my Audi whilst trying to perform a hill start. Refused to stop, and when I caught up with her at the lights she simply shouted at me that it was all my fault because I should have given her more room (she had about 2m). BIB gave her a telling off for failing to report an accident and did her for having no tax, MOT or insurance - well done BIB again. Her somewhat spurious insurance claim for whiplash was somewhat undermined by the video of her admitting that she had rolled backwards into me, there wasn't any damage and it was my fault for not leaving enough space between us. I can only presume that her solicitor told her to fk off as I never heard any more about it. Fortunately no damage to my car.

Numerous tyre valve caps stolen by people too cheap to buy them for 25p.

Not sure if I ought to post this, but I'm sure most here will understand, if not approve. Many years ago, coming home with my mate from a days sailing, with the boat on a trailer, he was being very careful driving, especially on roundabouts not to 'pinch' anyone between the boat and the kerbs. Anyway, some drunk scoates thought that was what he'd done to them, so at the next traffic lights, pulled up alongside, the passenger got out, smashed his drivers door window, and emptied a shaken can of beer into the car. My mate didn't blink and eye lid. At the next traffic lights, he retaliated with a parachute flare through their open window. Fastest bailout in history!!

To be fair, this is over the 18 years or so that I have been driving, and only the Smart and the Audi incidents took place in Leeds/Bradford. That said, like a few others on here, there's a lot to be said for running round in my chavved up (ironically I hope) E36 track car that I simply don't care about (really? then why did I spend all weekend polishing and waxing it?) rather than having a nice car that I'm precious about. Bizarrely liberating!
