Mind you... I can't stop looking at this:

Me too, in fact I've just spotted this

Okay it's got silly graphics on, and 19" wheels (I'd go for 18"s), but it's the first 265 I've seen for under 20k! woohoo

Seriously, is the 265 worth the extra? I mean, I know it's fractionally faster but you still get the LSD and trick suspension in the very well-received 250, which can be had for under £15k now.

I'd be interested in seeing how values look when the next generation Megane comes out. I'd also be interested in how hard they are to fix at that age, bearing in mind my previous experience of Renault (see above!). hehe

One of these as a realistic next car. Have always admired them, but am wondering if I've left it too late to try to find a decent one, a lot seem to be modded etc...

Never driven a 250 Cup yet, so no idea if it's just a case of 15 less bhp or if there's more to it.

Thing is if 265 values are going down - then 250 values ought to be pushed down too. 250 Cup for £10k possible...? scratchchin

Yep, had a similar experience with my Clio RSi many moons ago. I've only heard good things about this mk3 Megane...

Not yet by a long shot. The lowest I can find is £13480. Still, values aren't going to stay there long...

Well, it couldn't be worse than my Mk 1! biggrinAre the headlight bulbs still an arse to change?
