Perfect daily, except I can't afford one and driving one would make people realise I was rich...which I wouldn't want.

It is a crying shame that people in the UK tell people to follow their dreams, work hard etc and then the same people shun/blame "the rich" for all their problems.

Worst I am rich post ever smile

If its what you want and you can afford it, just buy it man, to hell with everyone else. You could also buy a 1996 Fiesta or something for the days you want to look like a commoner smile

Don't do it, you'll regret it. You're welcome.

I love them, but that particular one has to be one of the worst looking ones I have ever seen. Black with red or tan Interior and the bigger wheels for me:-

Sportwagon looks even better cloud9

Now if they can convert a GTR to use a proper gearbox even I might be interested in one. hehe

That's a nice colour (color?). I'd absolutely love one. In fact I think I'm not alone. Hopefully when Chevy and Dodge see how many Mustangs Ford sell they'll actively consider RHD versions in the future.

You say that (and I hope you're right!), but how many are Ford actually selling?

Maybe it's just round here, but I haven't seen a single one in the wild yet. I'd like to be proven wrong though!

Not exactly a car, but...

I occasionally have a phase of wanting one of these, a Field Marshall tractor

I've long fancied the idea of a vintage tractor for shows, doing tractor-y stuff and general pottering about the village on. In the seas of Grey Fergies, Fords and Fordsons always lined up at shows, the Field Marshalls always stand out with their extremely unusual design, and anyone who has ever seen one running will remember the extremely idiosyncratic sound they make too - they have an air-cooled horizontal, single cylinder 2-stroke diesel engine with hot bulb ignition, and go thomp-thomp-thomp-thomp-thomp-thomp-thomp-thomp.....

there's currently one on eBay trying to tempt me:

After reading an article on it in C&SC:

A Viper that's been to finishing school. I suspect though that, with only 9 ever made, I'd struggle to persuade any owners to part with them if I had the money to buy one....
