Inferior to my old NSX, bound to disappoint a little, but still has buckets of charisma.
Looking better by the day!

The one-off Rebellion R2K, an LMP-esque road car with (I believe) a Gallardo V10 engine.

bks to the others, it cool.
Agreed, but my God American cars from that era were huge.
I saw this in the PH classifieds about 5 years ago and still think about it regularly; iirc it was up for something like £11k and it looked lovely.

It is road legal, it was built to compete in the Gumball 3000.

Speaking of road legal LMP cars, there is a guy in Japan with a Porsche 962 registered for the road.

Maybe my greatest car obsession of all, I love these things. Can you imagine how wildly impractical it would be taking one of these to the shops - but you'd still do it, just for the sheer spectacle of driving such a thing on the road. I imagine it's a bit of a pig to drive, with just 5 gears to get to 225mph and a boost curve like satan's doorstep.

It's funny the history of that car (or at least what appears to be the history).

Obviously originally it started off as a 962...but then became a Schuppan 962CR....then got rebodied back into period 962 bodywork and livery.

Ah, no! Was it the black Schuppan that was at the Festival of Speed a few years ago?

Currently the 987 Cayman

A 2.7 non-S would probably do me fine. I love the Sport Classic wheels but realistically it would have to be lightweight 17" or 18" ones. Fruity exhaust. Can't think of much I'd rather have as a daily-driven sports car.

BMW i3

I already have 4 cars, commute by train, and my cars collectively probably only do 6-7k a year anyway.

So what I really need is an expensive, electric vehicle for local trips, so my other 4 cars can sit and only be used once a month. Makes perfect sense. I cannot shake the idea off, and I haven't even driven one!

You would get on far better with a scooter for the commute and parking..

Ive been umming and ahhing for months on getting one of these. Looks like £12-15k gets a good one.

Cant get it out of my head.

Browsing the classifieds, have just spotted one of these for sale, and have the idea an old M3 could be a practical, fun way to enjoy a bit of year-round, open-air motoring...

I'm sure there are curly bits to watch out for, but its an idea that seems to be sticking right now.

Today my obsession has been a Mazda MX3 v6, had one many years ago and they seem to be going extinct so I feel like getting one to keep and possibly see how far I could push the 1.8.
