Doesn't it depend on whether it's the V8, V10 or V10 plus? wink

Can't stop thinking about these at the moment. Need to wait until they've hit £20k first.

It wouldn't matter, an R8 is not a supercar, it's too anonymous. We recognise it for what it is but everyday Joe could mistake it for a TT. A Countach could never be mistaken for anything other than what it is, nor could a Zonda, put one of those next to a playground and you would be knee deep in kids wanting a look. Put an R8 next to a playground and it would just be something to stop the ball rolling into the road.

Similarly I've been hankering after a V8 R8 Manual in black lately - I'm trying to justify a purchase next year but I'm sure I'll find a reason not to do it frown Other contenders are Evora, V8 M3 or V10 M5 - all great cars, but not quite in the R8 bracket.

The V8 not as much but V10 certainly is a supercar in my book.

Granted some colours are dull but no one would fail to notice this parked on the road;

You and me both!

Have been looking at the figures and the guides for a F-type 6 cylinder coupe today... it doesnt help matters that every video shows it doing that lovely over-run pop and bang cloud9

For the past 2 week I absolutely cannot stop thinking about my next car being anything other than a Mustang GT.

How I plan on getting to it or justifying it I have no idea.

There's 2 cars I currently wouldn't mind an RS3 or a Ferrari 355

Nobody would mistake it for a TT, pure bks.

Put an R8 next to the playground and the kids will be going wild over it.

Agreed. It's no Zonda, but anyone mistaking that for a TT is either a) visually impaired or b) blind.

I currently own a TT, I was hoping my wife wouldn't notice when I upgraded to an R8. laugh

I've got this at present which I love but I'm thinking constantly of one of these

It's the Alfaholics GTAR video wot done it Guv. It would have to be something special to tempt me out of my R8 with it's noise and drama.

Just got back from Australia and spotted my first Jeep SRT, I've been obsessing ever since, and I usually hate SUV's! They sound menacing

Maybe you should be looking at the SRT Trackhawk - how does 700hp and 600+lb ft grab you?

It grabs me by the jubblies and gives them a good tug! I love the stupidness of it! That torque figure is eye watering
