Not a bad little job really, I'm all too aware of lack of parts sadly, I can't seem to get coil springs for love nor money, or a rear anti-roll bar for my 200 Coupe, though I can get hold of TRW shocks at least (body panels are thin on the ground as well).These guys are supposed to be good...

As well as running off with the brand names "MINI", "Clubman", "Cooper", "Cooper S" and so on BMW shat on Rover by stopping part production. My 213S was an arse to get bits for ten years ago. I would hate to try now.

Thanks for the link, had a quick look and it looks like it'll be a phone call as they don't even list the Coupe as a model and they only seem to have brakes for the Cab which isn't what I'd call hopeful. Rimmer Bros., as eye-wateringly expensive as they are, do have some of the scarcer stuff in.These guys are supposed to be good...

seen an Omega MV6 i like on Ebay. seems decent for the money MOT'd it runs and ticks all the boxes on my wierd RWD vauxhall fetish list.
only problem is i cant get time off work and its in Ruddy southampton.(i'm in Glasgow)
currently trying to figure out if i can do Glasgow to Southampton whilst still working on the train then drive home and be in work the next morning. and if the wife will notice a third black Omega appearing. (yes i've already got 2 MV6s but their a 2.6 and 3.0 this is a 3.2 i'm looking at. and whilst pretty much the same the 3.2 is a much better engine and well sod it to be honest i just want another Omega.

We needed a sensible family wagon, and I considered every option from hybrid, electric and petrol (no diesel as I'm in London and pretty sure they'll all be banned soon). I considered running costs, economy, load space and all weather ability. And then bought this, which is compromised in every single one of these areas. An RS6 would have been a far better option in pretty much every way, but I still ended up here.
