Now I can’t really think what their range consists of or looks like.
This.

In four different sizes.
And to think they used to make cars with lines like this…

Still my dream car. cloud9

It was astonishing how sophisticated this design was. Setting aside for a moment the considerable difference in time - and the subsequent requirements for safety, functionality, content, and so on - it's a bit of a shock to see this Granada alongside something Ford-ish today.

Toyota Vellfire's.

The fully kitted versions in the purple colour that R34's used to come in.

Shame the tax and fuel economy is so poor as they look a like a great alternative to a Caravelle in the same colour.

TBF to Frod the same could be said of a number of manufacturers. Arguably the only ones who've improved their design have been the Koreans

I seem set to inherit my Dad's old E-Class, like the one above, following his recent passing. I'm looking forward to long cruises remembering the laughs we had together outside and inside that car, and the joy in Dad's face the day I found it and we went to see it together.

@EVOTECH3BELL Wow thats quite a co-incidence, I'm sorry for your loss, grief is st isn't it. The NC500 is something I hope to do in Dad's car, I'm based in Ireland but I have done part of the NC500 before and would love to do more of it, so I might make the effort.

If you ever find yourself in Ireland, West Cork is similar to Scotland, abandoned roads and beautiful scenery the Healy Pass is my personal 'go to' for clearing the head.

That’s lovely. If I hadn’t already played my useless classic car joker on a 380SL I’d be sorely tempted.

It makes a very similar noise, and consumes similar amounts of fuel, for significantly less momentum, IME.

When I was a kid a mates parents kept horses had a 2.8 Granada Ghia estate for towing etc. It had quite a presence.

I can’t get over my love for these lately, I really think clean examples are going to explode in value in the next few years.

That’s strange I thought they already had. Is there a different model that goes for silly money?

The original shape and 22b in particular has started going a bit nuts.

Rarely does the facelift shape become as desirable as early indications show here too. Great cars regardless. Nearly bought a bug eyed sportback as a daily but the mpg put me off.
