The B8/8.5 S4 Avant. Can't get my mind off them this week. They seem a great all rounder.

As the euro millions is £150 million tonight, I've been obsessing about cars I definitely can't afford. In particular the Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge. I think it would make a lovely daily driver, as long as I could cope with the size, and rear seat access for a baby seat.

An e92 M3 is creeping into my mind a lot this week. I feel like it’s something I need to tick off the list.

They do look incredible for sure! It’s had some epic reviews and doesn’t appear dropping the V8 has had an adverse affect on the car at all, I’d love to try one out

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio as a possible replacement to the 370z when the times comes to get a 5 door.

An Alpina B3 3.3 Coupé that recently sold for £15995 (ono):

39,000 miles on the clock and apparently nurtured. Looks like a bargain for whoever the lucky buyer was.

Unusual and lovely colour, in my opinion.

I can feel another midlife crisis coming on, which will do me no good at all... wink

Sometimes old cars are not classic, just old, and I fear a Jensen would be one of those.
Each to their own and all that, but I don't think of it in those terms, if I ever do get to own one though I'll probably end up agreeing with you!

The strange yearning to have one is very distracting having spoken to a few owners who've worked on the cars themselves... wink

I've wanted one for the last 22 years, ever since I experienced a proper full bore overtake (as the one in the way) while I was driving in my 1l fiesta.
I felt the noise of the V8 from inside my car!

There used to be a company that upgraded the engine, brakes and suspension to modern stuff, one of these suitably upgraded is on my lottery win car list.

I was lucky enough to have a poke around on a few years ago, it was stunning
Wow, they're even better than I thought! No prices though, I expect they fall into the "how big is your imagination" end of the market.
I'd rather have the reborn Jensen than any modern supercar. Obviously a lottery win would be required for either.

More likely 'If you have to ask you can't afford one'!

I don't need to ask to know I can't afford one! I just think the budget range may go from highly unlikely to completely mental.

Absolutely. I have a thing for burgundy-ish BMW's and Mora metallic is a great colour. Shame there aren't more; I wouldn't be surprised if this were the only E46 Alpina in that colour.

I don't know why. I can't explain it. But the want is STRONG with this right now. Not full campervan, not full van. A bit of both, comfy cruising and all your kit in no bother. Epic family day trip vehicle.
