I missed it to, and I've scrolled back to August 2016 / jumbo page 60, and can't see it here. Google got me to this C6 forum with the same two pictures. It's called 'Ken's C6', and it was shown at a Japanese hot rod show. http://c6owners.org/plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic....

I'm no motorbike expert but exposed HT leads right next to your leg doesn't seem very clever.

You're right, you are no expert - legs will be behind the cylinder heads rather than astride them.

More a vid than pics but there was a 600hp Alfa 4c hillclimb car last year which has now got a V8 powering it, looks pretty functional https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSd9sVV5LFU

Those wheels make me think of star trek for some reason.
3 Spokes get a raw deal, often deservedly.

But these actually work on the Civic. Hard edges on the car with a lot of visual triangles.
Isn't it just a terrible photoshop?
Hopefully....

My 9-5 Aero.......................

Fantastic car. Love it.
Are the wheels Saab originals? I wouldn't mind something similar for my old 900 Turbo (see profile). Maybe up to 16 inches from the originals, and put those in the garage.

They are Hirsch wheels, IIRC they required some sort of steering limiter to be fitted on certain models.

I want to like this but there's something wrong with the stance. It's a bit too high and it looks as though its perched on top of the chassis / wheels. The exhaust looks awful. I would have just gone with a single tailpipe, albeit larger than OE. Either that or concealed the 4 pipes behind the rear valance. Those wheels aren't right for the E9 either. Obviously these are just aesthetics and totally subjective.

Front and rear valances look wonky and amateurish too.

From memory it's an E39 chassis underneath, the strut towers look too modern for an E9.
