Pictures of decently Modified cars [Vol. 2]
Discussion
its not to the super high show car standard of most on this thread but I'll chuck my P1 in.
stroked to a 2.1l, fully built, forged, closed deck engine, 6 speed transmission from a 2003 STI, AP Racing 6 pots etc etc. Running just over 500bhp, engine is built to take 7-800 so I can swap out the turbo and go silly if I ever get bored of it how it is.
Little vid of the ASBO antilag. Dont run with this on all the time its switchable. Doesn't eliminate all lag like full on WRC spec would but it makes a big difference to response and most importantly makes me feel like a rally driver

Probably marmite, but it makes a change from seeing a normal van and not being sure if it's a Transit or Sprinter or.. something else.
Coming soon to a hipster ice cream/burger/coffee van near you.
It is very cute, but it goes against the ethos of the original, IE to make it lightweight and cheap, where as this is heavier and dearer. Probably marmite, but it makes a change from seeing a normal van and not being sure if it's a Transit or Sprinter or.. something else.

That's fking awesome, one of the nicest understated imprezas I've seen
Agreed....and it'll go like the hammers of hell!
I have tried to keep it a bit more subtle now. I bought it with all the rally graphics on but cant do that look anymore. So wheels are back to original colour, bodywork is standard apart from the fog cover, carbon splitter and carbon reverse vent. The reverse vent being more function than form. No point keeping the normal scoop with a front mount as it just traps hot air in the bay, the reverse scoop actively draws it all out. The front splitter went on after I hit a rabbit at about 90mph and it smashed the centre out of the original. I like having it carbon as one I like splitters black and two the P1 comes standard with a carbon gurney flap on the rear wing so its nice to compliment that.
Just to keep it more subtle I have the black badge on the nose (previous owner had a pink STI one on it) front mount painted black, all the indicators are now clear rather than orange and the little vents by the fog lights are painted black rather than the standard orange.

My 18 year old self fell in love with the P1 when it was new and just like an escort cosworth i still yearn for them. I cant remember the last time i saw a p1 or a type-r on the roadDaniel1 said:

If howmanyleft is right then only 664 of the 1000 made are left and less than 300 are taxed and guessing most of them will be second cars so guess it is a relatively rare sight.e30m3Mark said:
Has anyone seen the Lotus Elise on FaceBook, that has been extended and widened? I've been looking for more details to post here but without much luck.
Which one? A number of people (including Lotus themselves, in fact) have done this, usually combined with switching to a larger, longitudinal engine. kambites said:
