The chap who bought my VX220 OE hardtop has already painted it to match. Subtle modificiations are usually (not always) enhancements IMO.
What colour is that?

I was undecided on the Montreal, but the yellow towing shackles are the deciding factor. If it's a track toy, good; if it's not, bad.

Thanks, I didn't know there was a gp4 Montreal. Fantastic car in that case.

Or how about this? Fairly subtle, but really cool. It might be a render, I'm really not sure.

Looks great, but there wasn't ever a 190e in an Estate version. Not even a basic 1.8L petrol jobbie.

Looks like the metallic green that comes on the Corsa VXR

Does this count as decently modified? I'm a bit torn on it. Overall seems good, but a bit rough/tatty round the edges...

Trying to make one car look like another ill never get. No different to a fake Rolex.
If you want the real thing go buy one. A real cobbled together mess.
The most cringy thing though is the 'Hoonigan' screen strip, it may as well say 'dhead'.

Rick Dore is an artist... he has such an eye for lines and proportions. Some of his stuff is exquisite.

That Jaguar (Black Pearl) is a thing of wonder.
It certainly is....

Rick Dore is many levels above the Gas Monkey types. I wonder what it costs to have a car hand built by him.

As for the rest, I can only assume you haven't seen Ken Block's?

He’s probably a level above someone like Dave Kindig, never mind Rawlings.

A true artist.

I would think you’d be looking at many hundreds of thousands for something bespoke from Rick. I read a full Kindig resto is in the 300-400k range.

Mini: Looks great fun.

RX-7: Don't know enough about them other than it has different wheels.

Porsche render: Just no.

Looks like a 1M at first glance, it's a 135i shell (with a sun roof) with complete genuine 1M bodywork (as in every weld is where it should be from factory) then underneath it is a E92 M3 with the V8 engine,6 speed manual gearbox, running gear, suspension (including fully functional EDC) steering & braking, rear end and wheels..

I think this has just become my perfect modern BMW.

RX I think it’s just wheels, suspension and maybe subtle bodywork like front lip and skirts. As I said not much but it looks lovely.

The Porsche, I thought it was a render but the description with the pics said “check out the build here” so thought it might just have been the way it was photographed. Turns out it is a render adapted from this real speedster
