Pictures of decently Modified cars [Vol. 2]
Discussion
The Alfa GT and the Jag XJC really appeal to me as the original shape is just so right. The Jag is not quite how I would have done it, but near enough.
I have long wanted a classic, but modified. And again, something where the base car is just very right, would work for me. Also, like the GT, I would want something with four seats, and small enough to fit into my small London garage.
The MGBGT is that car. I have owned a Roadster with a V8 in it, but the coupe is intrinsically a better looking thing. I genuinely think that it is a lovely design, just cheapened by familiarity.
This is pretty close to what I would like to do to one. Different wheels (not a fan of chromed wheels - something like the items on that gorgeous GT Junior earlier in the thread would work). I would also do different bumper treatments, likely chrome quarter items. And I'd keep an original grille with the MG badge and centre divider. But otherwise...yes.

Is it me, or are all the 1960-1970 ish cars really much better looking that today's 'blobby' rubbish?
Example:-
Slightly refreshed, looks totally modern, if not futuristic to me.

People tend to like stuff from their youth. Example:-

Nice car but no way I would call an MGB GT a four seater. It’s a 2 plus 2 very small seats only suitable for children I have long wanted a classic, but modified.
