Owned one of these, they very same colour, truly was a POS but really cemented my interest in cars. Reg was like TNT something ending in Y, not sure if it exists any more I don't have any record of it as it was like 30 yrs ago
The only thing rustier than the outside was the inside of the tank, seemingly keep killing injectors.....
Wondering how that is modified other than lowered, I know there are some with 2.0TSi's which must be mind blowing.
I like sourcing original parts that were considered an extra back in the day e.g a center speaker and oil pressure, battery volt gauges.
Probably the rarest thing on the car though is the battery cover. They were never put back on the car when the battery was changed, haven't seen another one

Creative. And imagine all of the storage space available up front I wonder if the powertrain is built from components of the FWD V8-powered Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles of the 60s through the 80s.

I assumed it was a crew cab pick-up?
A 2 door crew cab? I've seen older kombi wagons like that, not a newer one (T4 maybe?).Happy to be proven wrong, but it looks like over modifying for the point of it for me. Sure he enjoys it, good for him.
Up to the t3 they only had one door on the driver's side, two on the passenger (it's LHD)
