That looks like an actual challenge car that's been made road legal.

Looking at the cage etc, I suspect that's exactly what it is.

Not a Photoshop. Memminger Roadster 2.7 . They built one as a concept, they may have built a run of 20.

Clearly the owner is a fan of Mad Max. So why not just build a replica?

Rather than a van version with some airbrushing confused
Maybe he only had a van to work with.
Bit late I know but...

That panel van is a photoshop - image nicked from an old for sale ad and the wording removed:

Also, the nose cone on the Mad Max car is from what is known as a Concorde kit, first used on a van that was displayed at the 1977 Melbourne Motor Show, hence the van link:

Seem to recall a recent'ish Ratarozza video where he meets a pal with a road legal challenge car?

I'd love to own and drive that. I'd take that over any modern super car.

Wow, the work that's gone into that!

I too, am conflicted.

It's certainly done properly, so I think it's kinda unfair to call it badly modified. The wheels are a terrible choice tho, imo.

I think it's cool, in a kinda Bosozoko way. It'll get panned to fk on here tho hehe

Many hours of body and paintwork went in to making it look that fked, I’m sure.

I think that is firmly in the "not my thing" but it is well modified.
A lot of the things here aren't my "thing" but that doesn't stop them being well done and the same applies here.

I mean just look at the effort that has gone into the squiffy registration on it. It's a world away from the lowered Corsa fitted with a dodgy bodykit and "smoothed" via 5 tins of P38.

Overwheeled but otherwise great.

The Civic is an abomination regardless of the work that's gone into it.
