That's very cool.

Years ago I nearly bought a BMW 3.0Li and that would have been epic with a similar type of conversion. Maybe a V10 from the M5?
Wrong engine for a limo, it’s a high rev low torque engine

Looks well executed, but what a shame, as the original is lovely!

Ok, one more. W116 450 SEL with the AMG M156, the 6.2 naturally aspirated V8 from the C/E/S63, 500 bhp and 7 sp auto. I think this is in development at Mechatronik - not sure if they are doing the customer conversions yet.

Some lairy action here:

I think the harshest thing I could say is that I would have chosen a different gear knob.

And at 2.6m Euros, should be in the seriously overpriced thread too.

I know the ride height is going to make some folk explode. laugh
Does it do anything more than some big wheels and a kaputt suspension?

kaputt suspension?

Oh well, I suppose at least you attempted to go for something more original than "broken suspension"

I bet even the owners will admit that it's a daft look.

(sigh) here we go

You don't like it. That's cool - we all like different things.

Incidentally, it's not really my thing either, but I don't feel the need to say that it's a daft look, or come away with worn out schtick about broken suspension coz - hold on to yer hat - I get it that folk have differing tastes and I'm cool with that.

Mad idea, eh?

You're allowed to like it, or not like it, and I'm allowed to say that I think it looks daft.

I hope you're cool with that.

Only thing I would change is the key-ring, but I could make do I suppose.

Is it only used to seek attention on the high street, or does it improve something functional? Genuine question.

My bold. What you said originally had the underlying assumption that your view is the only correct one. That's quite a bit different from saying "I don't like it"

It's just an aesthetic. Some like it, some don't. Simple as that.

Banging on about broken suspension is just ignorant of that.

We all have a good laugh at other daft mods like massive spoilers and odd stickers, but for some reason this overly lowered suspension thing seems to get people all upset.

After Armageddon, there'll be two cockroaches looking over the devastation.

"Well those humans messed up big time"
"Well no, most of it was mother nature"
"I think it was the humans, I'm allowed an opinion Cocky"
"Yeah but you said it as if it were fact so....I'm just pointing out there are other opinions"
"oh ok, yeah of course and you're welcome to yours, even though it's wrong"
