I know the ride height is going to make some folk explode. laugh
Does it do anything more than some big wheels and a kaputt suspension?
kaputt suspension?

Oh well, I suppose at least you attempted to go for something more original than "broken suspension"
I bet even the owners will admit that it's a daft look.
(sigh) here we go

You don't like it. That's cool - we all like different things.

Incidentally, it's not really my thing either, but I don't feel the need to say that it's a daft look, or come away with worn out schtick about broken suspension coz - hold on to yer hat - I get it that folk have differing tastes and I'm cool with that.

Mad idea, eh?
You're allowed to like it, or not like it, and I'm allowed to say that I think it looks daft.

I hope you're cool with that.
My bold. What you said originally had the underlying assumption that your view is the only correct one. That's quite a bit different from saying "I don't like it"

It's just an aesthetic. Some like it, some don't. Simple as that.

Banging on about broken suspension is just ignorant of that.

We all have a good laugh at other daft mods like massive spoilers and odd stickers, but for some reason this overly lowered suspension thing seems to get people all upset.
If that's what your takeaway is from what I said, then you've missed my points, somewhat smile

Ok, let's bring it back on track. How about another Mechatronik classic, a 280SL Pagoda with a M113 4.3 V8, 280 bhp. Not much change from €500k I'd imagine.

Maybe you didn't make your points very well, but I'm pretty sure I understood what you were trying to say.

W100 600 Pullman with original engine and gearbox and a modern Maybach interior fitted out by Mercedes Classic.

Looks well executed, but what a shame, as the original is lovely!
This, half the appeal of these beasts are the original interiors

I think Mechatronik do incredible and subtle restomods to Mercedes-Benz.
I have been looking a Beacham Jaguar recently and I know it won't be to everyone's taste, but I'd have one of their MkIIs as family car if I won euro millions.

Same. Although I really don't like wooden steering wheels. Just a personal thing though and I have no objection to other folk liking them. wink
