nothing is going to stop the pro who is taking cars to order, you would rather they steal the car without you noticing than carry out a home invasion for the keys. On top of the Disklok as a visual deterrent, I was also advised by the locksmith to put a hidden fuel cut off switch, even if they defeated the immobilisers, the car won't start, unless they can find the switch.

Doesn't matter if the car is locked or not. If locked they smash the window and put one arm in to plug the device into the obd port. By only putting one arm in you stay out of alarm sensing range hence the alarm won't go off. Would have to be a quiet non windy day though if that's any consolation. I would love to see the video that chap has of it actually happening.
