I still use a Disclok on my MX5 and T4 van.

Both are immobilized but not as standard so most thieves would probably have a go.

I think the visual detterent means they will move on rather than smashing a window / slashing the roof only to then find out the my car is immobilized.

My E34 has a Moss alarm, and I use a steering wheel lock.

Still got one of these in the BMW.

Had the original "krooklock" that hooked the steering wheel and clutch pedal together when I first started driving - they were rubbish - a good kick and it was off !
