As said before, excellent video Chris! Both cars as you say utterly bonkers and all the better for it.

Excellent video as always, two great cars and a tester that knows his stuff.

Keep them coming.

Thanks.

Another outstanding video by Chris and his colleagues!

The commentary whilst driving at those speeds is highly commendable, i think its safe to say most of us would be far from able to talk due to the levels of concentration!

Oh, and like someone else who has posted, it made me 23 minutes late for work..... Top Bombing!

???? If you can afford a 458 or a Macca - then surely you can afford to buy an MPV as well for the "sprog" .....
Doesn't work like that smile I have an MPV for winter but in the summer I want a sports car that can transport the family as we move around quite a bit and I can't afford to keep a silly car at each venue. It also means you can ferry the sprogs to their grandparents and carry on for a quiet weekend away in a car that allows you to reminisce on times when you were free without juggling multiple cars around. If I had a 2 seater, as before, I would now have to chose where to leave it, not be able to use it much and have to drive an MPV all the time. I'd rather die.

You'd rather die than drive an MPV? What a tool!

I can't believe how many tempting supercars there are out there today... M600, Alfa 8C, MP4-12C, DBS, 458 Italia, R8 V10, SLS, GT3 RS 4.0+++

If I had that sort of money and could only pick one car, I would go mad! smile Therefore, MUCH kudos for Noble M600 buyers.

I suspect the tool would be the person who takes a turn of phrase too literally. rofl

Anyway, please accept my most sincere apologies for having the audacity to not want to own or drive an MPV.

Obviously in future I will defer to yourself in all matters and buy and drive what you tell me to.

Congratulations Chris and the crew for yet another excellent video. Does the Noble make you want to chop the 4.0RS for one?

The Rangie once complete will have around 400bhp so work quite well as a winter hooner. biggrin
DA I ran a 1993 Overfinch 5.7 injection 330bhp LSE as a daily driver a good few years back. Black with Sable leather. Great car but cost a lot to run. I had it three years. Went through three sets of shocks and steering dampers. It broke the gearbox. You get a lot of heat sink through the bulk head. I had the exhaust manifolds wrapped and they melted. New ceramic coated exhaust manifolds. Brake pads every 10,000 miles and discs every 20,000 miles. 12mpg. It did not get driven particularly hard and never went off road. Good luck and enjoy, I had a lot of fun with it. Oh it also had remote start on the alarm system. More often than not it would back fire and blow smoke out the K&N filter and bellow out from around the front of the bonnet. Caused some very bemused looks on peoples faces smile

This is what Top Gear and Fifth Gear are missing.

Top review by a top bloke, all the time truly nailing the essence of the thrill of driving (c) evo biggrin

I'm just biding my time until Monkey gets a proper TV gig, i'd watch it till the cows come home.

Brilliant review (mind you it would be difficult to screw a review up with ingredients like that)

You, my dear man, need to drive the Typhon the way it was intended to be driven: supercharged. I believe RG may have a setup for you available, if you'd ask smile

I drove it. I've nothing negative at all about the drive but I cannot state enough how I despise all these buttons they stick everywhere. It simply isn't my thing.

It's a personal thing and why I would veer towards something like the M600.

As it happens when I was trying to decide between the F458 and the Macca (the Macca had won at this point) I discovered that I had a sprog on the way so had to bin the idea of a 2 seater and switch to finding a 2+2 that wasn't a 911 or a GT.
Did you get the 2+2 version of the Typhon to solve that itch?
Awesome footage Chris - thank you. The above discussion is a little ironic considering that the 4.4 V8 was first produced for a certain Volvo MPV 4x4 thingy in the first place smile The best thing about having four seats in performance is you can scare more people per mile!

What a cracking video. Probably the best piece of video motoring journalism since Chris did that Road Racers video for EVO where he drove McRae's development Impreza.

I loved how visceral the footage makes it look, doing two uninterrupted laps of the ring totally immersed me in the experience, made me feel like I was sitting in the car with Chris.

The Noble looked great, if I had to choose between that and a 458 or a McLaren I'd take the Noble ever time. But from the two in this video, the Atom V8 would get my money. Though come to think of it, if I could have any Atom, I'd have a Mugen if it were possible.

10/10 from me.

Anyone know how many M600s there are out there? Assuming it's still <10 cars in total?

Baby blue: M600 GB
Grey: M600 RHD
Red: M600 LHD
Lovely blue tinted one for sale here: http://www.romansinternational.com/luxury-car/565/...
White one that was also for sale by Romans and is maybe now around Leicester?

Is that it at moment? Are they just slow building them or are they not really selling any?
Add an orange one to that list, have seen it in one of Shmee150's pictures on Facebook in the background smile

Absolutely fantastic video by the way, these really are top drawer!

It's an absolute weapon on the road/track and whilst full of gizmos it is a hell of a lot of fun.

Why dont you get a car from the 1950's with no buttons on it then? Buttons + gizmos are fun.
