Must be a typo but 840,000 miles with MOTs to prove mileage...
I'm presuming a typo, as the ad states low mileage Must be a typo but 840,000 miles with MOTs to prove mileage...

Just about run in with these legends. http://suchen.mobile.de/auto-inserat/mercedes-benz...
If only they and B'MW would make cars to this quality standard now would destroy Japanese and US car makers.
30 years old 500-900k miles no problem sir OEM warranty to 500K
2005 Ka very close to 200k miles, don't think it's a typo as £450 is cheap for an 55 plate..

Given how well modern cars wear miles you have to wonder how many cars have cover vastly more miles then the dash tell them it has covered...
We hear stories on PH of folk taking super cheap car lease deals but 5k miles a year restriction but instead trimming mega miles off hand car back zero evidence.
Whereas if you buy a young car with huge miles on it clearly it's not been clocked

Also selling it with a 6 month warranty! 6 month warranty on a car for 1200 quid with 320k on the clock, mental! Wonder how "robust" that warranty is.BorkFactor said:
I paid that for a newer, higher spec car with less than half the mileage. That's a £500 car, not a £1300 one. I'd rather buy it for £500 and keep £800 for spares / repairs, than take my chance with the warranty.I presume I will get shot for posting a bike in this thread, but in case I don't 115,000 on Hayabusa is very good going. (to put it in perspective, the next highest on autotrader hasn't yet done 40,000, and is 7 years older)

Yikes, I feel sorry for the poor bugger who had to sit in that for 200k miles.http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...

I don't know the first thing about bikes, but I would imagine that is very impressive for a bike in general as you generally don't hear about them racking up big miles at all? http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...
What's the long term reliability of them like?

Very mad However, as a throwaway, if it lasts a year and then you scrap it, sort of good value, or maybe genuinely good value.
Somewhat similar to how I look at my heap now - every month is a slight bonus & while it feels a bit ropey when you try, it is very cheap transport, all things considered. Plus, has that CKAF side .

It will be one of those insurance based 'warranties' that excludes any components ever likely to break, excludes any 'wear and tear' item and is basically worth as much as the paper it is written on. Better off just buying the car for its true value (£700?) and keeping the rest in reserve for the repairs.
Would feel like a lot of miles http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...
Apologies if it's a repost. 251k on a Porsche Cayenne:
