I’ve recently bought a 2007 Panda 4x4 with 107k on the clock. It hasn’t got much service history but feels absolutely perfect. Only time will tell!!!
Apparently, the 1.2 Fire engine doesn’t lunch itself if the timing belt goes so, rather than shell out £200+ for a replacement, I’ll run it until it snaps and then replace it!
Coming back from Italy the other week, there were plenty of 20 year old Panda 4x4s still going up the mountain roads. Apparently, the 1.2 Fire engine doesn’t lunch itself if the timing belt goes so, rather than shell out £200+ for a replacement, I’ll run it until it snaps and then replace it!

And it looks pretty fresh and new too right - barely even sat in?A slightly sporty price for those miles IMO
eBay zero rated seller from Bradford, awesome!
Not quite the same, but I ran a new car to 100,000 miles in four years and it looked great still. I suppose wear and tear can be: mileage, number of trips, time elapsed, care of the owner. A careful owner for a short amount of time performing fewer, longer trips, can equal a good car. In theory....

There is a chap opposite me, he had an Insignia and now a Volvo, not sure of the model, I think its an S90. They are lease cars, go back after 3 years. He treats it as well as his classic Porsche in the garage. I see him out every so often checking the oil, waxing it and so on. He does approx 100k over the period but they still look A1.

A lot of lease cars get clocked. I know someone who sells the deals. Some of his customers admit to doing it. Generally after the cars have passed inspection. They've never had a car fail inspection due to clocking. I don't think it's part of the check. It's just a visual check it seems. eltax91 said:
