That S63 has spent its life doing exactly what it was built for.

Love to see cars like that being used for masses of miles. I bet it's in fine fettle too.
Totally agree, it's glorious just imagining Herr Businessman clocking up those KMs :P

And of course it is completely de-badged as well, perfect.
If i can read the readout correctly, it has averaged 16mpg (14l/100km) over the last 85,000 km!!!!

I'd love an XC70 as a tow car.. but the wife just cannot stand being in a ovlov.. its the smell.. i have had a few ovlovs. and no matter what we do they make her feel travel sick.. no other car does..
My old Volvo V70 smelled faintly of damp dog!
Did you have a damp dog in the back ? smile
Not even a soggy moggy!

One of mates has the same issue with volvos, maybe its the leather they use? i don't know but he said every one ha had been in smelt strongly of crayons?!?!?!?!? wtf?

My wife agreed... people are strange
I had an S80 with the cloth interior and that stunk of crayons, my V70 had leather and didn't smell.

That is literally the raison d'etre for a vehicle like that.

Makes me want an S65 or an M760Li, badly.

That’s actually 20.3mpg but still huge amounts of fuel!

You're right - I Googled it but didn't notice it was US gals. Still, that's £50k worth of fuel in nearly 200,000 miles! Add that to the £80k - £90k depreciation and possibly 2 years of running outside of warranty! Not for the faint hearted but what a way to travel!

Guy where I was working today has a CL600 V12
Looked suitably stately and according to the last MOT ( I’m a nosey bd)it has covered 179000 miles. Not a massive amount but like others have said a glorious way to do it.

You're no more a nosey bd than any other car enthusiast! I'm on MOT check all of the time...

I agree, that's crazy money to be spending on a car of that milage, especially from somewhere that doesn't know how to take a photo, or even know what car they are selling.

The famous cars with no reserve in Reading. They simply buy at auction and shift in high volumes. They always have 100 cars in motion which must he hard work to keep track of. They photograph them before they have even bought them and sometimes list them on ebay before they own them too. Some sell straight away and some take a few goes. Its an interesting business model. They also currently have this ending in 18 hours.

Not crazy high compared to some but for a petrol 2.0. Be amazing if it’s still on original turbo.

Has anyone purchased from carswith no res? I guess it is no different to buying from an auction itself. There is never any mention of the mechanical defects or anything else etc. This wouldnt be a problem if they were down the road but im 2 hours away from them so bit of a fker if you drove all that way.

I have and as per above the cars are listed before being collected from bca, they have all the cheap scruffy cars that no one wants plus a few decent ones.

After winning you turn up and check the car over as they don’t know anything about the cars so you need to give it a good check.
If is not one for you then you can walk away and if there are genuine things wrong they will agree some money off.

They have a huge turn over of scruffy cars so there are loads of people buying them, they are generally low priced but for good reason.
